O Cosmedics V8 Peptide Sheet Mask is something I reach for when the skin doesn't necessarily need correcting, it just needs a really good boost. I see this quite often before an event or after travel, when someone's usual skincare is doing its job but their skin suddenly looks a little flat and fine lines are showing more because they're dehydrated. I like that I can use one mask and get that immediate improvement in hydration and freshness, while the peptides and Niacinamide make the formula more considered than a basic hydrating sheet mask. I also think it's a good product to have on hand rather than feeling that you need to use it on a strict schedule. If your skin looks great, you don't need to mask for the sake of it. I would save these for the times when you'll actually notice the difference.

I wouldn't use these to compensate for an everyday routine that isn't providing enough hydration. Don't throw the sachet away as soon as you've taken the mask out. There's often serum left inside, and I always use that over the neck and décolletage rather than wasting it. Once you remove the sheet mask, massage any remaining serum into those areas as well. There's no reason for the treatment to stop at the jawline.

How To Use

Apply the O Cosmedics V8 Peptide Sheet Mask to freshly cleansed, dry skin whenever an intensive treatment is needed.

Open one sachet and carefully unfold the mask. Remove the protective layer, position the serum-infused sheet over the face and smooth it into place so it sits comfortably against the contours of the skin. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes.

Remove the mask and gently massage the remaining serum into the face, neck and décolletage. Do not rinse. Finish with your usual O Cosmedics moisturiser.

The O Cosmedics V8 Peptide Sheet Mask is a short, serum-based treatment with peptides and Niacinamide, making it ideal when you want a concentrated boost in around 20 minutes. O Cosmedics Hydra Plus Sleep-In Mask is a richer overnight treatment that focuses more heavily on moisture retention and replenishment while you sleep. Which we choose depends on whether the skin needs a quick treatment or more sustained overnight nourishment.

Can I use the O Cosmedics V8 Peptide Sheet Mask after Retinol or exfoliation?
Yes, if the skin is comfortable. The O Cosmedics V8 Peptide Sheet Mask can be a useful hydrating addition to a routine that contains active skincare, but we wouldn't use it as a way of pushing through irritation caused by too much Retinol or exfoliation. If your skin is stinging, inflamed or unusually reactive, reduce the active load and allow the barrier to settle.

Do I wash my face after using O Cosmedics V8 Peptide Sheet Mask?
No. The serum left behind is part of the treatment. Massage it into the face, neck and décolletage, allow it to absorb and follow with moisturiser. Washing afterwards would simply remove product that is intended to remain on the skin.
