O Cosmedics Multi-Functional Peel is a leave-on AHA and PHA exfoliating treatment formulated to resurface dull, uneven and textured skin while maintaining essential hydration. Powered by a 14% AHA/PHA complex, it helps refine visible pores, improve uneven tone and encourage smoother, clearer-looking skin without the downtime associated with a traditional peel.
At the centre of the formula is an Amphoteric Hydroxy Complex combining Lactic Acid with Amino Acids for controlled, time-release exfoliation. Gluconic Acid, a PHA, provides additional resurfacing while attracting and binding water, while a Multi-Fruit AHA Complex supports healthy surface renewal and visible brightness. This combination gives the formula its key advantage: meaningful chemical exfoliation without treating hydration as an afterthought.
Unlike a rinse-off exfoliating mask, Multi-Functional Peel becomes part of the evening routine and remains on the skin before serums and moisturiser. Used consistently and according to tolerance, it is particularly useful when persistent surface build-up, enlarged-looking pores, congestion or uneven pigmentation are preventing the complexion from looking clear and refined.

SKIN DEEP MEDISPA EXPERT VERDICT
Our rating: 4.8/5
O Cosmedics Multi-Functional Peel is one I reach for when I can see that surface build-up is becoming an ongoing part of the problem rather than something that needs an occasional exfoliation. I particularly like it for skin that feels persistently coarse, looks uneven or congested, or seems to have lost that clarity despite otherwise using a good routine. The Lactic Acid and PHA combination is what makes it useful to me because I can get meaningful resurfacing without choosing an acid formula purely on strength. I still introduce it carefully though. If someone is already using Retinol, Retinal or several other corrective products, I want to know where this actually fits before I add it. Sometimes the best change I can make to a routine is one well-chosen exfoliant, not another three actives layered around it.
BEST FOR
Uneven Texture • Visible Pores • Congestion • Uneven Tone • Fine Lines
This isn't the peel I would automatically give to someone whose skin is simply a little dry or flaky. If they need occasional surface refinement and their skin is sensitive, I may choose O Cosmedics 3 In 1 Fruit Peel Mask instead. I also wouldn't introduce Multi-Functional Peel while the skin is irritated or the barrier is compromised. In that situation, getting the skin stable again takes priority over resurfacing it.

🔥 OUR HOT TIP
Don't judge this peel by how much you can feel it working. Tingling isn't the goal, and I don't want someone increasing the amount or frequency because they think an acid needs to feel strong to be effective. I look at what the skin is doing over the following weeks: texture becoming more refined, less visible surface build-up and better overall clarity. That's a much better measure of whether your exfoliation routine is working.

“I started slowly because I already use Retinol and didn't want to overdo my routine. Twice a week has been enough to make the texture around my chin feel much smoother and my skin looks clearer overall.”
Amelia, Melbourne VIC
“My main issue was that my skin always looked a bit dull and uneven even though I was using good skincare. I've noticed the biggest difference in how refined my skin looks and my makeup sits much better now.”
Jessica, Perth WA
“I was expecting this to sting because it's an acid peel, but it hasn't on my skin. I use one pump and follow with a hydrating serum and moisturiser. It's easy to use and I've definitely noticed less roughness.”
Catherine, Hobart TAS
