It differs from a general radiance serum because the formula is specifically designed to address existing discolouration while helping reduce the formation of new pigment.

Can O Cosmedics Concentrated Brightening Serum help with melasma?
Melasma is among the forms of hyperpigmentation that O Cosmedics Concentrated Brightening Serum is designed to address. We would still approach melasma differently from an isolated sunspot. Hormones, UV exposure and heat can all influence melasma, which means we generally recommend a broader management strategy rather than expecting one serum to completely resolve it.

What is the difference between O Cosmedics Concentrated Brightening Serum and B3 Plus?
We choose them according to what else is happening in the skin. O Cosmedics Concentrated Brightening Serum is more specifically targeted to established pigmentation and recurring discolouration. O Cosmedics B3 Plus is the broader corrective when uneven tone occurs alongside concerns such as excess oil, breakouts, redness or barrier weakness. They don't necessarily have to be an either/or choice. We recommend layering B3 Plus underneath Concentrated Brightening Serum when additional pigment support is required.

How long does O Cosmedics Concentrated Brightening Serum take to fade dark spots?
Visible improvements may begin within approximately 2–4 weeks, with greater clarity developing over 8–12 weeks of consistent use. We treat those timeframes as a guide because pigmentation behaves differently depending on its cause and depth. We are more interested in progressive improvement in overall tone than promising that an individual dark spot will disappear within a set timeframe.

Is O Cosmedics Concentrated Brightening Serum suitable for sensitive skin?
The formula is designed for all skin types, including sensitive skin. However, we wouldn't base that decision on skin type alone. If the skin is currently irritated, highly reactive or barrier-impaired, we may address its condition first and introduce pigment correction once it is more stable. This is particularly important if several corrective products are already being used.

Can I use O Cosmedics Concentrated Brightening Serum with Vitamin C or Retinol?
Potentially, yes, but we wouldn't add multiple corrective actives simply because they can technically be used together. O Cosmedics Concentrated Brightening Serum can be combined with an appropriate Vitamin A corrector for more advanced pigment correction. Whether Vitamin C also belongs in the routine depends on the skin, the products already being used and how much correction it comfortably tolerates.
