SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective PDRN Serum is an advanced, clinically tested serum designed to visibly reduce facial redness, soothe sensitive skin and support moisture barrier recovery. Powered by biotech PDRN, an 8% Phyto Botanical Blend, Ectoin and Tripeptide-8, this lightweight formula helps improve skin clarity, refine post-blemish marks and deliver up to 48 hours of hydration for a calmer, healthier-looking complexion.

Developed using innovative biotechnology, this multi-action corrective serum combines the skin-supporting benefits of PDRN with targeted soothing and hydration technologies. Biotech PDRN helps support moisture barrier recovery, while an 8% botanical blend featuring Cucumber, Thyme and Olive Leaf works alongside Ectoin and Tripeptide-8 to calm visible redness and improve skin comfort.

A concentrated humectant complex of Glycerin and Hyaluronic Acid provides lasting moisture without a heavy or greasy finish. Suitable for normal, dry, combination, oily and sensitive skin types, its lightweight texture makes it particularly appealing for those experiencing recurring redness, dehydration, uneven texture or lingering post-breakout marks.

Good to Know: Unlike traditional salmon-derived PDRN used in some aesthetic treatments, SkinCeuticals uses non-animal biotech PDRN sourced from Lactobacillus sakei.

Product Size: 30ml

✓ Phyto Botanical Blend: A combination of soothing botanical extracts, including Cucumber, Thyme and Olive Leaf, that helps calm visible redness and comfort stressed, sensitive-looking skin.
✓ Ectoin: A protective ingredient that supports skin barrier function and helps improve resilience against environmental stressors.

FAQs

What is the difference between SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective PDRN Serum and SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective Gel?
Both products offer soothing botanical ingredients and lightweight hydration, but their corrective focus differs. SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective Gel is a good option for everyday calming hydration, while the SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective PDRN Serum introduces biotech PDRN, Ectoin and Tripeptide-8 for additional support with moisture barrier recovery, persistent redness and post-blemish marks. We generally recommend the PDRN formula when visible redness is a more significant or recurring concern.

Is SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective PDRN Serum suitable for rosacea-prone skin?
It may be beneficial for some people with rosacea-prone skin, particularly when redness is accompanied by dehydration or reduced barrier resilience. However, rosacea can involve different symptoms and triggers, so we wouldn't automatically recommend the same product for everyone. We suggest assessing individual skin tolerance, especially during active flare-ups. This serum is designed to improve the appearance of redness, not to treat rosacea as a medical condition.

Can SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective PDRN Serum help with red acne marks and pigmentation?
It is particularly relevant for lingering red or pink marks following breakouts, which are commonly associated with post-inflammatory erythema. However, brown pigmentation and conditions such as melasma involve different processes. For those concerns, we may recommend a more targeted pigment-correcting serum rather than relying on PDRN alone.

How long does SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective PDRN Serum take to show visible results?
Skin comfort and hydration may improve shortly after application, while more established changes in redness and texture generally take longer. We recommend assessing your skin over several weeks, as facial redness can fluctuate with temperature, stress, skincare products and environmental triggers.

Can SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective PDRN Serum be used with Vitamin C, Retinol or exfoliating acids?
Yes, it can be incorporated into routines containing these ingredients, provided your skin tolerates them. We particularly like using a calming serum alongside corrective skincare when maintaining barrier comfort is important. However, if you're experiencing stinging, excessive dryness or ongoing irritation, we would reassess the stronger actives in your routine rather than continuing to layer everything together.

Can SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective PDRN Serum be used after skin needling, laser or chemical peels?
SkinCeuticals has physician-tested the formula in association with professional aesthetic treatments, including microneedling, laser and chemical peels. However, this does not mean it should automatically be applied immediately after every treatment. We recommend following your treating clinician's aftercare instructions, as the appropriate timing depends on the procedure performed and the condition of your skin.

Does SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective PDRN Serum contain fragrance, and is it suitable for very sensitive skin?
Yes, the formula contains added fragrance despite being developed for sensitive and redness-prone skin. It is formulated without parabens, silicones or ethanol, but those exclusions do not mean it will suit every reactive skin type. If you have a known fragrance allergy or regularly react to scented skincare, we recommend a patch test and individual product assessment before introducing it into your routine.

“My cheeks get quite red, especially when my skin is feeling dry or irritated. I've been using this morning and night and really like how it feels. It's lightweight, absorbs quickly and doesn't leave that sticky feeling some serums do. My skin has been looking a bit calmer too.”

Andrea, Mornington VIC

★★★★★

“I've used SkinCeuticals for years but this is my first time trying a PDRN product. The texture is beautiful and it layers really well under my moisturiser and sunscreen. My face feels hydrated without being greasy, which is important because I have combination skin.”

Joanne, Newcastle NSW

“I bought this mainly for the red marks I tend to get after breakouts. It's still early days so I can't say they've completely faded, but my skin definitely feels more comfortable and looks a little more even. I'm enjoying using it and will keep going to see how it improves.”
