Step 1: Prepare | Cleanse & Exfoliate
For the most even-looking results, begin with clean, dry skin. Using the O Cosmedics SELF Exfoliating Mitt, gently exfoliate the body before tanning to remove surface build-up, paying particular attention to rough areas such as elbows, knees and ankles.

Avoid applying oils, fragrances or heavy moisturisers immediately before tanning, as these can interfere with even colour development.

Step 2: Build Your Body Tan | O Cosmedics SELF Gradual Tanning Body Butter
Using your hands or the O Cosmedics SELF Velvet Tanning Mitt, massage evenly over clean, dry skin using long, sweeping motions. Apply sparingly around elbows, knees, hands and feet, where tanning products can develop more intensely. Use daily until your desired colour is achieved. Once developed, maintain your tan by reapplying approximately 2–3 times weekly.

Wash your hands thoroughly after application and allow the product to absorb before dressing.

Step 3: Hydrate & Tan | O Cosmedics SELF Hydrating Tanning Face Water
Hold the bottle approximately 15–20cm from the face or body and mist evenly using slow, sweeping motions, keeping your eyes and mouth closed. Use the O Cosmedics SELF Tanning Brush to gently buff and blend where required, particularly around facial contours, the hairline and décolletage.

Allow the mist to dry completely before applying additional skincare, makeup or clothing. Reapply daily as needed until your preferred depth of colour develops.

Step 4: Perfect Your Finish | O Cosmedics SELF Tanning Brush
Use gentle circular motions to blend product around areas requiring additional precision, including the wrists, hands, ankles and feet.

After use, wash the brush with warm, soapy water and leave it to dry thoroughly before storing.
