O Cosmedics Eye Correct is usually the one I recommend when someone isn't necessarily concerned about ageing around their eyes, they just want to stop looking tired all the time. I particularly like it for people who wake up puffy, rely heavily on concealer or feel that darkness under the eyes makes their whole face look fatigued. What makes it useful for me is that you don't have to wait weeks before you notice anything at all. The brightening finish gives the eye area an immediate lift visually, while consistent use is where I would expect to see the more meaningful improvement in puffiness and hydration.

The one conversation I do have before recommending it is why the under-eye area looks dark. If puffiness, shadowing, dehydration or dullness are contributing, O Cosmedics Eye Correct makes a lot of sense. If someone has naturally deep-set eyes or strongly genetic pigmentation, I set expectations differently because skincare isn't going to change the underlying anatomy. In that situation, I would rather be realistic about what we can improve than have someone continually changing eye products looking for a result that topical skincare can't deliver.

If you wear concealer, give O Cosmedics Eye Correct a minute or two to settle before applying it. I find people often apply eye cream and immediately go in with makeup, then blame the concealer when it moves or creases. Use a very small amount of Eye Correct, let the hydration absorb, then apply concealer only where you still need coverage. Because the formula already adds some luminosity, you may find you need less concealer than usual.

LipoLight® immediately diffuses visible shadowing, while ongoing use supports a brighter-looking eye area. We wouldn't expect a topical product to completely correct dark circles caused predominantly by genetics or the underlying structure of the eye area.

Is O Cosmedics Eye Correct good for under-eye bags?
Yes. O Cosmedics Eye Correct is great at treatment under-eye bags that have a puffy or fluid-related component. Eyeseryl® is the targeted de-puffing peptide in the formula and is designed to help reduce visible under-eye bags and morning puffiness.
