What is the difference between O Cosmedics Repair Serum and EGF Booster?
We generally choose O Cosmedics EGF Booster when skin tolerance is lower and calming, gentle repair is the immediate priority. O Cosmedics Repair Serum gives us a broader rebuilding formula with Natural EGF, structural support, Ceramides, Liquid Crystal technology and antioxidants.

Is O Cosmedics Repair Serum good for a damaged or compromised skin barrier?
Yes. Ceramides, lipids and Liquid Crystal technology help reinforce the skin's barrier structure and reduce moisture loss, while the wider formula supports renewal, structural integrity and antioxidant defence. We particularly like it when barrier impairment is part of a broader picture of weakened or stressed skin.

Is O Cosmedics Repair Serum suitable for redness or rosacea-prone skin?
It can be. We still assess how reactive the skin currently is, because very reactive skin may be better introduced to O Cosmedics EGF Booster before progressing to O Cosmedics Repair Serum.

Its role is to support the condition, barrier function and resilience of skin that also happens to be breakout-prone.

Can I use O Cosmedics Repair Serum after professional skin treatments?
O Cosmedics Repair Serum can be used following peels, microneedling and heat-based or resurfacing treatments. However, we recommend following the aftercare protocol for your particular treatment because the appropriate timing for restarting corrective skincare depends on the procedure and how your skin is recovering.

Can O Cosmedics Repair Serum replace my moisturiser?
For some skin, yes. O Cosmedics Repair Serum has a lightweight lotion texture and can be used as a standalone hydrator when it provides enough moisture. If your skin remains dry, lipid-depleted or tight, we would follow it with an appropriate O Cosmedics moisturiser such as Comfort Cream.
